I came across Don Wright’s name when I was putting up the mission bulletin board at my church. I was running a homestay program for Japanese at my church and on the mission committee at my church. In 1995 I was given free airfare to go to Japan from the homestay program I was working with as a gift for my work. On this trip I chose to meet this missionary that our church supported, so that I would have a contact in Japan for my Returnees.<\/p>\n

In the summer of 2000 Don sent me a letter asking if we would be available to come help in August. In my mind I’m thinking why would anybody go to Japan in August? I wrote back and said do you need any help in Hokkaido? He replied back no.<\/p>\n

\u305d\u3046\u3044\u3046\u8a33\u3067\u3001\uff12\uff10\uff10\uff10\u5e74\u306e\uff18\u6708\u306b\u3001\u79c1\u306f\u5357\u6d66\u548c\u6559\u4f1a\u3067\uff12\u9031\u9593\u3054\u5949\u4ed5\u3057\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002\u771f\u590f\u306e\u6691\u3055\u306e\u4e2d\u3001\u30c9\u30f3\u306f\u3053\u306e\u50cd\u304d\u306e\u305f\u3081\u306e\u30c1\u30e9\u30b7\u3092\u4f5c\u3063\u3066\u3044\u3066\u3001\u79c1\u305f\u3061\u3082\u30dd\u30b9\u30c6\u30a3\u30f3\u30b0\u306b\u99c6\u308a\u51fa\u3055\u308c\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002\u6570\u6642\u9593\u306e\u30dd\u30b9\u30c6\u30a3\u30f3\u30b0\u4f5c\u696d\u3067\u3001\u6691\u3055\u306e\u3042\u307e\u308a\u6b7b\u3093\u3067\u3057\u307e\u3046\u308f\uff01\u3068\u611f\u3058\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002\u305d\u3057\u3066\u79c1\u305f\u3061\u306f\u3001\u30ed\u30fc\u30e4\u30eb\u30fb\u30d5\u30a9\u30fc\u30af\u30fb\u30ab\u30d5\u30a7\u3067\u3072\u3068\u4f11\u307f\u3059\u308b\u3053\u3068\u306b\u3057\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n

Over iced tea, Don stated, that “he’d like to network with others like us who are working with Japanese in the states.” Don said he was interested in something like a worker’s conference.<\/p>\n

After we returned home I called our friend John Whitehouse and asked if he’d be interested in helping with a conference to train and network with others working with Japanese in the states and he said yes. So I emailed Don while he was in Japan and we started planning our first RJC conference and launched it in February 2001.<\/p>\n\t

\u7b2c\u4e00\u56de\u306e\u30ab\u30f3\u30d5\u30a1\u30ec\u30f3\u30b9\u306e\u53c2\u52a0\u8005\u306f\uff17\uff18\u540d\u3060\u3063\u305f\u3068\u8a18\u61b6\u3057\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002\u305d\u3057\u3066\u3001\u56de\u3092\u91cd\u306d\u308b\u3054\u3068\u306b\u3001\u53c2\u52a0\u8005\u306e\u6570\u306f\u5c11\u3057\u305a\u3064\u5897\u3048\u3066\u884c\u304d\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n

2009 we wanted to see if it’s possible to do the international conference in northern California and that one was held at North Creek Church Walnut Creek California.<\/p>\n
