Born in Kofu City of Yamanashi Prefecture. She converted from atheism to Christianity while she was a college student. She then dedicated herself to ministry, receiving the M.Div degree from ACTS Seminary, and a Ph.D. in Cross-Cultural Studies from Trinity International University. Currently, she teaches missions at Torch Trinity Graduate University in Korea, and is also the cooperating pastor of the Japanese congregation at Hallelujah Community Church in a suburb of Seoul. As the first Japanese woman missiologist, she also is active as a messenger and seminar speaker all around the world.

山梨県甲府市出身。学生時代に無神論者からキリスト者となり、献身して韓国のACTS神学校で牧会学修士(M.Div)を、米国のトリニティ神学校で異文化学博士号(Ph.D.)を取得する。現在、韓国トーチ・トリニティ神学大学院で宣教学を教える傍ら、ソウル郊外のハレルヤ教会日本語部の協力牧師として仕えつつ、初の日本の女性宣教学担当者として、韓国、日本各地を始め、インド、ベトナム、フィリピン、ネパール等のアジア諸国、やイランやヨルダンの中東諸国、さらにアメリカ、ブラジルなどでメッセンジャーやセミナー講師として活動している。
